Bowed but not broken

tree

A tree on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal, shaped by the winds of the Indian Ocean. Bowed but not broken.

In much the same way, bipolar blows with great force through our lives. We may be shaped by the symptoms, we may bend under its force, but as the tree does not break, neither do we. We adapt, we cope, we survive. Everyday we continue, alive.

And our beauty lies in the way we never give up.

Possible Mantra:
I am unbreakable
